Auxiliary Input / Bluetooth Streaming Options

Classic Analog Radios 1954 - 1967

Tube and Transistor version radios from this time period can be modified to allow for an aux audio input or Bluetooth streaming. This will require you to have the radio removed and shipped to us. While it is here for modification, it would be a great idea for us to give the unit a complete inspection for problem areas and take care of them while we have the unit open for modification. This group of radios includes all tube and hybrid type radios that do not have a letter before the serial number and early transistor versions (TR) that have the letters A, B, or C before the serial.

Classic Analog Radios 1968 - 1980

Radios from this generation were manufactured with an aux input jack. This allowed for either an external tape player or allows to attach a Bluetooth streaming module. The module can be ordered in either a MONO or STEREO version, depending upon the radio version you have.

Becker Aftermarket Radios 1998 and Up

 Radios from this generation if AUX is in the audio menu can accept a bluetooth streaming module in the rear block.  Buy it now

Mercedes-Benz Single DIN Radios 1981 - 2002

Radios from this time period were not manufactured with a simple rear panel connection for aux. These radios will need to be removed and shipped to us for a Bluetooth streaming modification .

Mercedes-Benz Command Radios 2000 - 2009

The Harman / Becker, Alpine, and Bosche Comand Head Units from this generation had back-panel connections for an aux input. There are three different options available. Either a 3.5 mm male jack (headphone) or a Bluetooth streaming module.

2005-2008 SL 230 chassis: We can add bluetooth streaming to this system. Please send the AGW tuner located behind the drivers seat under the compartment.

Unfortunately, the following Siemens Command Units we cannot add to.
  • S and CL class 2004 - 2006 

BMW 5 - 6 Series 2004 - 2010 7 Series 2005 - 2008

Radios for this time period 5 series E60 6 series E63 7 series E65 (post facelift) have back-panel connections for aux input. There are three different options available. Either a 3.5 mm male jack (headphone)
or a Bluetooth streaming module.

Porsche Radios 1996 - 1998 CR210/CDR210

Radios from this time period were not manufactured with a simple rear- panel connection for aux. The CR210 and CDR210 can be modified for Bluetooth streaming. For all modifications on these radios they will need to be sent in. $125 

Porsche Radios 1999 - 2002 CR220 / CDR220

Radios from this generation have back-panel connections for a CD changer which also allowed the selection of an aux input (when not using a CD changer). There are three different options available. Either a 3.5 mm male jack (headphone) or a Bluetooth streaming module.

Ferrari Radio 2000 - 2008

Radios from this generation had back-panel connections for a CD changer which also allowed the selection of an aux input (when not using a CD changer). There are three different options available. Either a 3.5 mm male jack (headphone) or a Bluetooth streaming module.

 Porsche Radios 2003 - 2008 CDR24 / CDR23 / PCM 2

Radios from this time period were not manufactured with a simple rear-panel connection for aux. These radios will need to be removed and shipped to us for a “hard-wired” Bluetooth streaming modification. Due to limitations in the audio circuit, Input is processed in Mono. All speakers are active. There will be no stereo separation. $125
 
Porsche PCM3 , PCM 3.1 , CDR30/31
We have 2 options. with either option radio has to have "AUX" in its audio menu. if AUX in not present (PCM3/3.1) it will need to be programed by a porsche test computer (PWIS)

Sprinter Radio 2004 – 2012

Radios from this generation had back-panel connections which allowed for the addition of an aux input. There are three different options available. Either a 3.5 mm male jack (headphone) or a Bluetooth streaming module.
